Pretty much all the 1 star reviews are people complaining cause they didn’t book. Book a table before hand this is a super popular place! Food is professionally made, by hand using fresh ingredients from around Nara, the staff are amazingly friendly and the coffee was delicious! Lunch time is super popular so you definitely should book, check out the gift shop out too it has tons of hand made goodies from the owners, chefs and local artists.

Delicious food served in a beautiful old house. A little expensive but worth every yen. Definitely book in advance as it is very popular and show up on time to make the most of it.

Because it was an 170year old house restaurant, I went. A building is greatly good. The owner rebuilds it and is splendid. The lunch can be reserved. Satisfaction！

I visited with the wish of my bride I saw on the net. The atmosphere and menu are not bad, but the price is reasonable. It's humane to understand that on weekends, there are too many customers and there aren't enough employees, and the customer service is thrown away, but since it's a shop centered on female tourists, it's okay. But what if you had been there for an hour and a half, including waiting time, but never heard a word similar to "Welcome" to other customers, including yourself? It's certainly delicious for the price, and it's recommended for Instagram girls, but in the sense that it's a restaurant to eat, it's no if you ask if you want to revisit it side by side.
