In the SL era, I went back (acceleration line) once to go to Onuma station 😲 ❗️ Even now, each station stops 🐢 It runs 30 to 35 km from Shin-Hakodate Hokuto station to Onuma station ❗ Mountain climbing is hard‼ ️The recommended regular train is bound for Onuma Park, which departs at 7:19 in Hakodate 😃 Limited express Hokuto, the curve count is amazing as if running ❗ Especially amazing is the Hokkaido Shinkansen, Niyama, which is just outside Shin-Hakodate Hokuto Station It's a right curve in front of the tunnel entrance 😱 I especially feel it from behind the vehicle! ️Do not derail ❓😨 Also, Niyama station is the shooting point of the limited express Hokuto ❗ Exhaust smoke is irresistible ☺️‼ ️

A station located on a steep slope over a mountain. From here, you can see the night view of Hakodate, and it is so high that you can see the Hakodate Shindo below. Therefore the scenery is beautiful. The station is old and has a good taste, so you can watch it all the time. When you get tired, head to the Niyama hot spring hydrangea in front of the station.

Visit for the first time in 10 years. Station building to leave the old-fashioned atmosphere. Unusual switch back in Hokkaido. When I was an elementary school student, the old passenger car DD51 was a towing train and switchbacks were often used.

A station on the Hakodate Main Line with a wooden station building with a beautiful red roof and creamy walls. A simple switchback line called an acceleration line remains as a detention line for maintenance machines.

There was a station when I passed by after stopping at the hot spring. I thought it was an abandoned station, but there was a new poster in the waiting room. It seems that the neighbors are using it while taking good care of it.
