Most campsites are surrounded by hedges for privacy. Several are offset from the roads for greater privacy. From up on Yamabushiyama, one has a great view of the surroundings; it's not a difficult climb. One can also enjoy a relaxing walk around Yakushi Lake. In summer, rent a boat!

Went there on a weekday and had a very pleasant stay :) nice and clean campsite, from small to family size sites. 100% sure that I will go again next year (maybe more than once). Also, you can eat good soba noodles at the Tsunan village nearby.

MUJI is one of the few campsites where you can specify an area and make a reservation in advance. The border with the neighbor is weeds and trees, so Tsunan has an image of being more private than other MUJI products. You can check it when you make a reservation for places where the slope is steep. I'm glad that you can buy MUJI products, butter rolls and bread from a local bakery in the sanitary building.

It is a MUJI campsite along with Minami Norikura in Gifu Prefecture and Tsumagoi in Gunma Prefecture. It has the longest history of the three. The person in charge said that the site (including those other than the camp site) is the largest in Japan. Except for free sites, the sites are separated by bushes, so you don't have to worry about the line of sight next to you. Since I used it in October, it was a pampas grass partition. The back (dead end) site seems to be popular because other people do not come. However, there are many insects near the forest, so it is annoying. The center house shop is so fulfilling that you can think that you will have all the clothing, food and shelter you need for camping. I think that the consumables used on the site are first placed. It goes without saying that MUJI brand groceries include standard products such as retorts and sweets, and miscellaneous goods such as cosmetics and detergents. I bought butter chicken curry. Alcohol is also available, such as Japanese sake, beer, wine, and sparkling liquor, and I thought it was a good idea that raw beer was chilled together with the barrel (5L). There is a wind cave nearby and it looks a little cool in summer. In addition, you can refresh yourself by seeing the beech forest on the way.

A campsite where you will arrive as you go up the mountain path, which is a bit heartbroken. It's a vast area, and the compartments are separated by Japanese pampas grass, so it's hard to see others, but I wonder if you can hear people's voices. Since there are almost no outside lights, on the contrary, it may be a bit quiet in the back even if it is too quiet. The stars in the night sky are so spectacular. However, since it is a campsite in the mountains where there is not much sense of liberation, we can not expect much scenery. Isolated from the city, it's a great place to breathe mountain air, enjoy outdoor activities and vice versa. Take proper measures against gnats in the summer.
