This station is located in Tsuboi, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City, and is also the terminal station of the Fujisaki Line. It is a manned station, which is rare for Kumamoto Electric Railway, and although it depends on the time, station staff are present and we also sell tickets. The entrance is difficult to understand, but it is located in the back of the 1st floor of the large building "Kumaden Plaza", and you can find the platform by following the passage next to the pachinko parlor. I used it in the daytime, but the aisles and the station yard were quite dark, probably because of power saving. As the station name suggests, Fujisaki Hachimangu is nearby, so it is convenient for those who worship at this station. (* A special train for the first visit is also operated every New Year)

When I got a numbered ticket from Hakkei Mizutani Station, it was number 13, so I put 240 yen in the fare box at Fujisaki-Miyamae Station and got off, but the correct fare was 190 yen when I looked at the fare list at the station. When I applied to the window, I was told to "tell me by train" and returned to the platform, but the departure bell rang and I gave up correcting. Perhaps many people who have boarded with IC cards are probably being removed.

Immediately after the last train, there was a customer in the toilet, but the station staff closed the shutter without checking it enough and went home in October 2020.
