This free camping site was great and the toilet was super modern & clean! There was only another group of 6 apart from us (maybe because it was during the weekdays after Oban holidays?). We camped up on a hill, where we could see the ski fields (basically concrete slopes in summer) surrounded by mountains 🏔 The downsides of the camping ground were that we had to walk up a steep hill to get to the quiet sleeping area off the main road and there were so many mosquitoes 🦟 We got bitten a lot... The morning view from the site was beautiful 👍🏼 although it got very hot very quickly from 7am and we were fighting with mosquitoes and sweat non-stop while folding down our tent 🏕🥵

It is a well-maintained place where you can observe hiking trails and birds, and the toilets are clean. And it's free. If you use a hammock or tarp on a standing tree, a good weekday with few users is good.

This is where I always go for a walk. I don't camp. Many people are using the campground on weekends because it is free to use (there is a contact book and other entries). A toilet and a kitchen are also installed. And it seems that some users can throw away the used charcoal in a place where it is hard to see, but it's free, so I want you to "discard it in the right place." And since the parking lot is never large, the street parking of the overflowing people stands out. There are rare arrogant people who do not follow the parking space in the parking lot and wear it sideways. Let's keep manners. By saying that there are such people, I dare to reduce one star. Personally I only take a walk, so if you think about it alone there is no complaint. It's a great place to see a variety of plant ecosystems. Please note that the collection of plants is prohibited.

I went to see Cosmos in early September It was starting to die I could see enough A nice view of Nagaoka city! ️ I didn't use the campsite It is unknown what kind of facilities are available
