Very good vibes,not typical movie theater.its like ...independent n indies theater. Place not for business to make big money but for making a new culture . They have about 10 seats at cafe area. Selection of book store is so nice. They’re offering good programs.

A movie theater that looks like a scene from a movie screened in a single building. If you like movies and movie theaters, just enjoying the atmosphere here will be worth 1800 yen. The location in the old shopping district, the screening works, and the atmosphere are all things that you can't taste at Cinecon. If you like movies, please come visit us even before Cinecon appeared in Japan. It was a little funny that all the people in the movie theater had a sub-calorous atmosphere. However, having a movie theater with this kind of atmosphere is a wonderful part of the city of Kyoto. You can feel that this city is a wholesaler of traditional culture and a top runner of avant-garde culture in Japan.

There is one screen in the Demachiyanagi shopping district on the first basement floor (42 seats) and one on the second floor (48 seats), and the bookstore "CAVA BOOKS" and the cafe "Demachiza" are on the first floor. It is a complex cultural base with a "Soko". It's not very large, so the store may be crowded before and after the screening, but everything is nice and well-balanced. By the way, Demachiza is a movie production company and DIY the building where the pharmacy was located on December 28, 2017 due to the closure of Ritsusei Cinema, which was operated by Shima Films, which operates Fukuchiyama Cinema and Maizuru Yachiyokan. It is also an open movie theater.
