One of my favorite snow resorts in Yuzawa. Conveniently located near the Kanetsu Highway IC

Was open despite hardly any snow around which is fine but many areas which consisted more stones than snow was unmarked and boarded many times over stones damaging my board. Location was pretty easy to get to with a dedicated lounge for people waiting for the free shuttle bus, getting to bus stop was very clearly marked. Some slopes seems to be shut during weekdays, open only at weekends which was disappointing as those seems to be more interesting runs. The base station had been recently refurbished so extremely modern and nice. Many restaurants as well offering a large choice of items May go there once more to check when snow levels are higher.

With many different kinds of terrain and features, it's definitely a fun place that I would like to visit again.

Definitely worth checking out. Better equipment than Gala and also less crowded which allows for a great time!

The beginner's course is really long so you can enjoy it even if your skills aren't that good. The rental skis and boots are also top notch, it was so easy to walk in the boots and to ski as well. It can be crowded though but that's all of Japan really
