Gonpachi Asakusa Azumabashi

We had a phantastic experience. I booked a table at the window on the 2nd floor to enjoy the amazing view. It took a bit to get the food and that's probably why it was so good. Reasonable price for very delicious food. Our waitress was an angel. My girlfriend had birthday and the waitress arranged with me secretly to get her a dessert birthday surprise. Very vigilant and professional staff. We will come back.

Great izakaya food and view from the top floor over the river - make sure to book ahead if you want a table with a river view though! Can easily cater for gluten free too - staff know about it and can tell you what’s gluten free. They also have gluten free soy sauce. Would also recommend the Japanese gin from Kyoto, Ki No Bi, in a gin and tonic!

Good food, good view, very nice staf

Great spot looking over the river. But thought a little pricy for what it was. Might've been a four but I couldn't be change the chicken skin, liver and gizzard skins skewers to plain in the river bowl. Message was a little flat in general.
