Restaurant owned by former geisha Hina. Restaurant itself only has around 8 seats, very traditional and homey. The owner is super friendly, even though she doesn’t speak English, you can still enjoy the food made by her. Did I mention the price? 800 yen for a lunch set, what a great deal! Be sure to check it out when you are in Nara.

Great atmosphere that feels very homely - food is also great and prepared in front of you. Caters well to allergies with a variety of set menus at a affordable price. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

Fantastic delicious Japanese style home cook meal made by a former Geisha. We had the grilled fish set, Japanese stew set, and colorful meal set for ¥800 each, value for money!

Nice little restaurant run by an old lady, recommended by the visitor centre. Food is pretty good and atmosphere is great. 800 yen lunch set.

Enjoy homely Japanese cuisine cooked by former Geiko Madam. Lunch Madam’s special “Omakase” only 800 yen very good prices.
