[Nyoraiji Temple]
The Shinran saint who visited Kasumigaura, along with the villagers, withdrew a shining object from the lake. It was the Amida Nyorai statue.
《Kasumigaura Soan》
In the 3rd year of Kempo (1215), the Shinran saint worshiped this Buddha with a soan. This is the origin of Nyorai Temple.
About 300 years later, the temple was relocated to a temple of the same name in Ishioka.

Shinran Kataoka, the younger brother of Junnobu-sama of Tosu's Mugenjuji Temple, was the lord of Kataoka-gun, Kozuke, but became a disciple under the teaching of Shinran saint who stayed in Kusan.
It was given the legal name of Norienbo Territorial Waters, and later the Shinran saint entrusted this hermitage.
It is the fourth temple of Shinran saint Nijuyohai.
Ryoninbo named the popular name Kataoka Genkurou Shinsetsu, and his brother Nobuchika (later Junshinbo) took over his life and became the Omiya Tsukasa of Kashima Jingu. Tomomoto's Reimu was felt green, and a relative saint was visited by Kusanagi in Inada (1215). He said that he listened to the teachings of Nembutsu and envyed it as follows.
“I do n’t even know the sea of Namba ’s tombs of a small boat.”
“Ama-kofuna by the sea of this application.
Otsuna became a disciple of a saint on this occasion, and was given the name of Ryokanbo Ryokai. The achievement of protecting Kusanagaura's Kusanagi and working from the survival of the saint to the end of life was great.
There is a monument near the [Nyorai-ji] mountain gate in Kashioka, Ishioka City.
