Sushi Dokoroonoya

It’s a very nice place for lunch! The chief can speak fluently English and explain everything on the menu . The hot pot is very delicious and impressive! The steam sushi is special dish in winter and it is delicious too. Highly recommended!

Great little sushi restaurant with excellent service from the couple that runs it. The owner was one of the best English speakers we've encountered on this trip and took his time explaining every part of the menu and our orders. The sushi was thick cut, with a lot of variety and high quality fish. Especially enjoyed the starters that came with the sashimi menu.

Nice and cozy sushi spot. There's an English menu, and the owner speaks good English too, making it a great place for foreigners. There are approximately 12 seats, but most of them were empty on a Thursday afternoon. The traditional Japanese music in the background made the experience all the more pleasant. You can get a very filling set of sushi and/or sashimi for around 1300 yen, but you can also buy sushi individually.

A super nice little Sushi restaurant managed by a lovely older couple. The chef explained every dish on the menu to us in perfect English after we asked if he had an English menu. And it all tasted amazing!
