This station does not have automated ticket processing machine. Make sure you have an IC (suica etc)

Since the Gifu bus to AEON MALL Kakamigahara is connected closer to Shin-Naka station, the number of passengers tends to be large without a car. The platform for Mino-Ota is not barrier-free with only stairs. It seems that only the platform in the Gifu area can handle wheelchairs. Also, there is an exit only on the south side, and you have to cross the Meitetsu line and go around quite a lot to get out to the north side. There is a public toilet in Kakamigahara City on the south side across the Meitetsu Line.

It was a wooden station building and a manned station until the Heisei era. When my grandmother used the Takayama line to reach her relative's house, we picked him up at this station. The sight of buying a ticket for a ticket at the window and riding was just like yesterday. There was an era when the railroad was connected to the neighboring Meitetsu, and from the nearest station of the Army Kakamigahara Airfield that was requisitioned, a train dedicated to the advancing army entered the Takayama line through the connecting line at this station, and went all over the country I have heard stories.
