This is a small temple but it still has amazing architecture.

A temple where the mountain of Kodo arrives. Originally it may have been one with the Kodo Shrine side, but it has been cut off on the road. Although there are various unfortunate places, it is a small, good temple by the sea. The main hall is also solid. The feature is the intricately crafted part and the bronze bells (small) on the left and right. There are also other stone towers. The place is next to Kodo Shrine and the road? . It's about a 5-minute walk from Enoden Koshigoe Station. I stopped by a car at a nearby parking lot and went around the temple.

Since it is on Route 134, there is a risk of passing by car. I was walking for the first time, so it was nice to be quiet

It's just opposite the small action shrine. Because there are many cars on the road, it's best to go to the zebra crossing. The Tang style of the temple is beautiful, and the whole is clever and solemn. From the side entrance of the temple, go to Yaoyue Station and take the river.

On March 10, 2016, after visiting Kodo Shrine, we crossed National Highway 134 and headed to “Kodoru-san Shoiwain Josenji”. Kaizan is a Kobo Daishi, and Chuko Kaizan is Motohide. The date on which the foundation was founded is unknown. The main hall is in front of the red three gates. He is a “left sword Fudo Myoo” with a sword in his left hand and his arms crossed in front of his body. In the precincts, there are Jizo-do and recreation of the Great Kanto Earthquake. In addition, there is a bill stone monument of “Kobo Daishi Soichi Ichigigasho No. 16” at the entrance of the old approach to Koshigoe Street. Before the abandoned Buddha in Meiji, it was joined with Hachioji Shrine (current Kodo Shrine). Even after the separation of Shinto and Buddhism, until 1918 in Taisho, Josenji priests managed Kodo Shrine. Terakoya, opened here, is the beginning of Kodo Elementary School.
