Amazingly clean and spacious campground. Facilities include running water and free WiFi near the management hut. Take note : you have to bring a water filter or boil the water before use though!

Camping in the snow, there is toilet and drinking water, you can take a bath at nearby onsen. Something worth to try of you have winter camping gear with you

Spacious camping ⛺ ground with hot showers and flush toilets. A few Hot-springs nearby. ¥500 per person per night for the first night, ¥1000 for 2 nights and above. So you won’t pay more than ¥1500 no matter how long you stay.

It's a very beautiful place, but I want to leave a warning for beginners: Come prepared! The temperature changes drastically from day to night so be prepared for the cold weather even during the August holiday. Nothing is sold in the camp site, so bring all your food and drink and be ready to take the trash back with you when you leave. There is a bathroom and water (not drinkable) on site, and an onsen nearby. You can take a bath for 700円 but there's no shower. You can collect potable water from nearby for free, but again, like shop facilities or hot springs, requires a considerable Walk to reach the spot. Access to the site is about an hour from the murodo station, the terrain is steep and rocky and in case of rain requires proper shoes not to slip on the stones. The back to the station is quite steep, so you'll probably get tired with your camp in the backpack. Also, We wake up early to make some coffee and go out for the climb in the first day light, so be aware of the noise before 4AM. Don't come in the Winter without very good gear and knowledge! This place can be Wild! While it's fun for the veterans, can be treacherous for the novice. My advice to the beginners is to avoid the snow here (even in the spring). During the night there may be snow accumulation to the knee and you will need a veteran leader to guide you as you will not see the trail, and you can fall into dangerous places (avalanche is a reality here). About the camp, It's an open place easy to fix the tent, but be prepared to sleep in the cold, wind coming from all directions and on pebbles ground :) It's normal, safe and fun, but probably not what you are used to if you're a newbie. So, my advice for begginers is: Come first in the Summer for a day Hike, walk around the area for a few hours and then later in another day, come loaded to spend one or more nights and appreciate the mountains and the night sky. Good luck, Be safe!
