French kitchen, it seems. Lovely beef stew in red wine sauce. The beef steak in slices was also good. As were the soup and side dishes. Reasonably priced and kind service. Japanese menu with some English. Owner doesn't speak English.

Had a fantastic evening meal at this cosy restaurant. The service was excellent and the food really delicious. We had the beef in red wine sauce, sliced beef with grilled vegetables and a canapé of bread, cheese and Nara pickles- delicious! A lovely cosy interior decoration. A great Japanese take on a French style restaurant. Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Nara rain and Googles recommendation resulted in my discovery of this gem on Sanjo Dori near Nara station. I had an excellent evening meal of pork and kimchi, rice porridge with kimchi with some wonderful cheese texture. Yes, l like kimchi. Great service and the chef, who you can watch slave away, had a blissful smile when I Arigatoued him for a great dinner.

I had a Western lunch. Fried shrimp, fried chicken, hamburger steak, pork cutlet and lots of consomme soup. I'm full. The hamburger is handmade and has a demiglace sauce. The fried shrimp was also fried and crispy and very delicious. There was also a drink at the service. I want to go again if I have a chance.

One plate dinner is delicious and reasonable! ! You can fish for ¥ 2,000 with soup, bread, rice and drinks. I asked for sausages of deer and sea bream because it was Nara Jibier, but it was also delicious. I wanted to eat deer ham salad, but I gave up because I was full (laughs).
