The station building has been rebuilt here, and tickets are consigned for sale. The station timetable includes Kanazawa and a quick view of Nagoya. Kyoto's quick view is Kaminaka, changing to the JR bus, from Omi Imazu to the Kosai line. There was a bus stop and I thought it was a route bus, but it was a highway bus to Osaka (Namba OCAT).

During the day, station staff are stationed. Early morning and night are unmanned. It is the nearest station to Wakasawada beach. There is also Wakasa Wada campsite nearby.
