This temple was founded in the middle of the Kamakura period by Myomasa, the sister of the 7th Kagetsuna, the lord of Utsunomiya Castle. Myomasa is said to be the legal name received from the Nichiren saint, the founder of the Nichiren sect.

Nichiren Buddhist temple. Visited in October 2015. It takes about 10 minutes on foot from JR Utsunomiya Station. The precincts are beautiful and green. In addition, the priests and miteras are happy to respond, Thank you very much.
