Although some facilities are off season and some are rusty, it is quite a scenic place, I think that a proper leader is attached and children think that it is a pleasant place to experience independent living experience. There is a large pond called Oike nearby, and seems to be able to play in the boat during the warm season. There was a castle type building near the middle side of the west campground, and although it did not enter inside, it seems that you can enjoy a pretty view as it is on the hill.
