Fantastic soba and udon!! Kid friendly and full menus in English. The Kyoto Style Herring and Egg Soba was amazing!! Hesitated to get it but due to recommendations, I did. So glad!! Daughter and wife had the curry and loved it!

I had a fantastic tsukimi udon bowl. English menu and very kind owner. Definitely recommended!

Very delicious rice bowl. Generous in portion. Reasonable price. Friendly staffs. Mostly old folks staff. Very warm service.

Nishin Soba: Kyoto style herring in soba. Umami bomb! Oh, whatever... you'll eat blue cheese, but sweet-and-salty dried herring is a deal breaker?? Come'on! Ok, ok, the entire rest of the menu rocks anyway. You can't go wrong here. There's already tons of pics of the delicious food, so I'll chip in with some of the ambiance.

The service was great! Very friendly and has a very cozy ambiance. The food was great too. Definitely recommend the curry udon :) The owner(?) was very sweet and even walked two blocks to give us an item we left behind.
