江戸時代は天台宗でしたが、現在は真言宗の寺院です。江戸時代初期の創建と伝えられています。境内に接して宿場の馬つなぎ場があり、明治時代まで馬市が立っていました。寺に伝わる絵馬は、馬を扱ったものが多く、明治時代の太夫行列を描いた参詣図絵馬は、当時の風俗をよく表しています。 所蔵文化財は遍照寺所蔵絵馬。

The priest is located at 1062 Hatta, Hatta, Matsuo-cho, Sanmu-shi, Chiba. If you enclose the return payment envelope with the payment, please send us a red stamp. It is a rare red stamp made by rubbing ink without using a brush. Thank you very much for receiving the red stamp!

A temple of the Shingon Sect. It is a ticket office of Toyoshima 88 places. The main hall is under construction and the red stamp is Mr. Ikoin.
