Perfect meal after sumo. Chanko nabe is the traditional hot pot meal that sumo wrestlers often eat. This place is the oldest and arguably best chanko nabe restaurant. Reservations are only accepted for parties of 4 or more; otherwise, tables / the counter seats are filled on a walk-in basis. The staff including the owner are incredibly friendly and have an English menu. The yakitori was grilled to order, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. The chanko nabe is cooked in a dish in front of you. The ingredients are simple but fresh. The broth is delicious. Looking forward to coming back. Cash only.

Wonderful food with a wonderful family staff. They were so polite and nice. Happy to teach foreigners how to properly eat Chanko Nabe. Truly beautiful!

Chan This is a long-established store that is the originator and origin. All of the bird dishes are delicious
