Visit during the rainy season. According to the auspices of the "Nanmendo Shugyo monument" in the precincts and the Ichijozan Mugenji Temple (Nichiren Buddhism), Ichige was found to be the head of the Mito domain, the second major lord of the domain Considering to build a temple on the ground, the temple was opened in 1701 in Genroku 14 (1701) after the death of Mitsukuni. The people of Ichige, Tsuda, and Tahiko were all determined to be the dwelling houses of the temples of the Futaji Temple, and the Kashima and Yoshida Ryomyojin of Ichigemura were the 30th gods, and the Kashima Myojin of Tsuda was the 30th. Kumano Sansha Gongen, who is the guardian of Tahikomura here, was renamed to "Seven-sided Great Myojin" and was placed under the control of Mugenji Temple. After that, when the 15th generation of the Lord who disliked Buddhism, Masaaki Ko, destroyed the Fujinji Temple in 1843 (reviving it), the seven-sided Daimyojin was Yoshida Myojin (Yoshida Shrine on the west side of National Route 6). I was asked to do so. However, according to the passion of the villagers who have been worshiping the "Seven-sided Myojin" for about 140 years, the "Seven-sided temple" was erected and re-relocated. There was a small shrine enshrined in the precincts, but I thought that this might be a remnant of Kumano Sansha Gongen, so I worshiped. As a supplement, the seven-sided Daimyojin (nine-sided celestial goddess) is the (female) god who protects the Hokke Sutra in the Nichiren sect. Although Mitsukuni destroyed many shrines and temples, it seems that there was an aspect of the Nichiren sect because his mother, Kushoin, was an avid Nichiren sect. There seems to be no doubt that the predecessor of Nanamendo was Kumano Sansha Gongen, but it is unknown whether the area was within the precincts of the former Kumano Sansha Gongen. In addition, Ichimo and Tsuda's Kashima Shrine have been seized in the modern era after they were out of the control of Mugenji Temple.

According to the city's website, it is a shrine of Nichiren's guardian deity, Nichiren Buddhism, enshrined on the summit of Neptune. In the precincts? The “Shimendou Shuei Monument” was built on July 9, 1985, and it is presumed that it was rebuilt or repaired at that time. From the stone monument, the first shrine that was built was the Mito feudal lord Tokugawa Tsunajo of Genroku 13th, so it is a temple with quite a history, and at that time it was under the management of Fujiiji Temple, which is still in Ichige. It can be read from the statement that, although the management was transferred to Yoshida Shrine, it was established as a new temple due to the strong desire of Dandan.
