Kinari Pizza is the BEST in Japan! My husband and I stumbled onto this wonderful place while enjoying a day in Nara. We had been craving pizza for a while since moving to Kyoto and were never fully satisfied until we ate here! The owner is warm, friendly, welcoming, and a master pizza chef! We ordered a Margherita pizza and a vegetable pizza, which used vegetables locally from Nara. Wow! They were both some of the freshest, most delicious pizzas we’ve ever had, and we’ve eaten A LOT of pizza from all over the world. Kinari Pizza also offers homemade garlic oil and hot sauce to drizzle over your pizza and they were simply amazing. I couldn’t speak more highly of this place and my husband and I will travel back to Nara just to eat here again! Thank you Kinari Pizza!

The pizza was very good. If I rated the pizza only, I would give 5 stars. However the waiting time was a bit too long for my liking, probably because the oven isn’t very big. I also felt that the pizza could have been a bit bigger. Nevertheless I definitely recommend you to try it, if you want to have a good pizza in Nara.

Nice place. Managed very well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good pizza options. They use a fire-wood oven to make pizza. Fresh vegetables used in the vegetarian option. Vegetarian option is tasty. Will visit again if I am in Nara.

Fancied some pizza after a heavy night of karaoke and this did not disappoint. Delicious, crispy bases with multiple toppings with either tomato or cheese sauces. The owner is so friendly and helpful. A great place to go if you're tired and hungry from walking around the park. Feed the deer, then feed yourself!!!
