Tsune Sushi

We had a wonderful dinner in this family run restaurant our last night in Tokyo. The son speaks very good English and is attentive and patient. He and his 80+ year old father are the chefs and his 70+ year old mother works the front. Seeing the father and son working efficiently together on an order is heart warming. The food was delicious and we had a great time. We would definitely go back.

Very nice, when I came in it was very empty and the son had a lot of time for me. Menu is Japanese but he speaks English and explains every item. He also explained some things about sushi and the restaurant to me. He recommended the traditional sushi set, which I had and then later I chose single toppings for further nigiri. It was the best sushi I ever had with all things I never had before. tea was delicious and he also gave me some tips regarding vista spots. It's a gem. He was also very accomodating, asking a lot of questions and answering my questions patiently. 5/5!

Great family owned sushi restaurant. The sushi chef is very knowledgeable and knows his craft. The sushi was fresh and tasty. The chef speaks English and does a great job at explaining the sushi as they come. If you are solo, seat by the counter and chat with the young sushi chef, you will be impressed by his general knowledge.

The son of the owner is incredibly nice. We had good chat in English and he kindly explained some ingredients and best way to eat them. As for quality, it is one of the best sushi that I have ever had. And I am quite picky when it comes to fresh food. Definitely worth mentioning that when I went there, all other patrons were locals. Will definitely come back.

Incredible, lovely, authentic experience. Family sushi restaurant. Playful, taught us origami, fed us great sushi.
