Naha Airport

Small airport so the distance to terminal gates are short, restaurant options scattered about but very few once you pass security and free wifi. One minus is that there are only 2 bathrooms for the Japan Airlines departure terminal... with sooo many people streaming out of arrival planes and directly into the restrooms I can only imagine the level of cleanliness is not to normal Japanese standards. But if you love fighter planes the view is great! The Japanese fighter jets share the same runway as the normal commercial airlines.

First time ever I’m in an airport and there’s a major blackout leading to delays in check in and flight departures.. all shops are closed and check in counters. Incredible!!

Love this airport! Nice shops and restaurants. It’s pretty quick to check your bags and get your ticket. I usually show up about an hour before boarding time with no issues. They have a great selection of Okinawa fruits, candies, toys, and other Okinawa gifts that you might have missed during your stay.
