Called to try and get information. Had to listen to almost six minutes of prerecorded messages telling me to go to their website for information. Finally get connected to a person and I'm told that the people I'm trying to talk to only work from 3 to 5. I wasted 6 minutes of my time because no where on their website does it say to only call from 3 to 5.

Evidently I had mistakenly got an appointment for the Tokyo Embassy instead. The forbidding guard gate gave me a number to call. Without much hope I called the number, which connected me to a human. She allowed me in on the understanding that it might be quite a wait, but actually I waited less than 90 minutes with a bunch of families with kids playing in the play area they have. Submitted my passport renewal application and received the new passport in 10 days. Wow, blown away by the quality and speed of service, a welcome reminder of home!

Useless place! Could not assist us when we needed help! We had a large group with 11 young children held hostage at a cheating local restaurant and left on our own! We were there till 12:30am and forced to pay a ridiculous tab!
