The railroad tracks in the direction of Tenri and the front of Kashihara Jingu branch off on the north side of the station, and the structure is such that it takes some time to move the strategic platform on both sides. Line 1 is a platform for trains that go directly from Saidaiji to Tenri, and Line 2 is a platform for two types of trains, one that goes from Tenri to Saidaiji and the other that comes from Tenri and turns back at the flat end to Tenri. It is a station that is likely to be a first-time killing connection due to train operation. Occasionally, a regular train bound for Tenri that arrived at Line 2 went to the railroad track in the direction of Saidaiji in order to pass the express train from Tenri to Kyoto that came after that, and then changed to Line 1 on the railroad track outside the station yard. There is a streak that is operated from Hirahata to Tenri after entering the line. For those who like railways, it may be a hidden spot on the Kintetsu line.

When changing to Tenri, be careful of the departure line. If you follow the guidance on the premises, you should be able to transfer without problems

Kintetsu Kashihara Line/Kintetsu Tenri Line Transfer Station. The Kintetsu Tenri Line runs directly from Kintetsu Kyoto Station/Yamatosaidaiji Station without changing trains.

I used it to transfer to Tenri. The leading vehicle tends to be crowded. Maybe because the ticket gate is near when I arrive. It was relatively empty except for the beginning.
