JR West "Kaguyama Station" ... Due to the corona sickness, the amount of exercise was reduced, so I went shopping to Kohnan in Kashihara City, and from there I went back to my home while walking along the Takenouchi Kaido / Yokooji (Omichi), which was certified as a Japanese heritage site. It's a kilo, but it may be a little exercise. It's fun to see things that you don't usually notice when you walk again. However, I was surprised that Kaguyama Station was built like a prefab, and I was surprised that this was a station building. Everyone who can climb Mt. Amanoka, one of the three mountains of Yamato, can walk from this station. Kaguyama Station is a station on the West Japan Railway Company (JR West) Sakurai Line (Manyo Mahoroba Line) in Degaito-cho, Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture. The station is named after the former Kaguyama village, which is derived from the famous mountain "Kaguyama", which appears in Hyakunin Isshu. However, the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan called the mountain name "Amanokaguyama", and this station was newly opened between Sakurai Station and Unebi Station on the Sakurai Line in 1913. After that, on October 20, 1984, it became an unmanned station (no station staff) due to the conversion to CTC on the Sakurai Line. In addition, the old wooden station building built in April 1925 was alive until the spring of 2019.

The station building has been transformed into a now thing that makes you feel the new era. It seems that the old station building made in the Taisho era was removed because it was worn out.

Praise improvement improvement under construction! But it may be sad that the old station building can not be seen ...

An unmanned station with a good view. It is usually demolished and replaced with a simple one, but the wooden station building is still left.
