I used it by bringing in a tent a while ago.
〇 Good points
・ Well-maintained and clean
・ You can stay cheaply with a premium gift certificate
・ Because it was just before the off-season, I was able to use the free space quite freely (quiet without too many people)
〇 Bad points
・ Attitude of some employees
I'm not staying at a hotel or inn, so I don't really care if it's blunt or suitable, but this time it was terrible.
At the reception, before the off-season, I confirmed that two of the four kitchens could not be used, and if I could stay away from the kitchen, I could use the free site anywhere, and moved away from other customers. I moved to a free site and started setting up a tent.
Immediately afterwards, another employee walked in with his hand in his pocket and said, "I said earlier, but it's prohibited to set up here." Even if I told him that there was no explanation, he said that he was stupid, saying, "I put a cone on the road there and blocked the road."
I was quite angry here, but I thought that there was a possibility of misunderstandings and misunderstandings, so I could not argue, so I decided to set up in another place.
When I finished setting up the tent and suddenly raised my face, another customer was setting up the tent in the place where they were careful.
Employees who were careful about themselves were doing things like patrols, but they didn't say anything to their customers, and they were also careful about other customers who set up tents outside the area of the free site. I didn't.
It was too double standard and I couldn't speak.
〇 Below campsite information
[Location]
・ It is quite cool at an altitude of 1500m
・ It runs on mountain roads as it is, but the road is much wider
・ Because there is no supermarket nearby, you can't buy ingredients unless you go to a liquor store in Otaki Village, basically a supermarket in Kiso Fukushima.
[Local situation]
・ The parking lot is quite large, but the free site area is small, and the plane is not so wide.
・ If anything, it is for cottages and bungalow customers, and the impression that free is for solos
・ Because cars cannot enter other than the cottage, it is necessary to rent a cart to move, and it is quite difficult because there are rattling crushed roads and ups and downs.
・ If it is sunny, you can see a beautiful starry sky from the birch forest, and if you go to the star house, you can see Mt. Ontake and Mt. Kisokoma beautifully.
・ The kitchen and toilet are clean, there is even a shower room, you can drink water, and it also collects garbage.
Quiet site surrounded by birch
Water, toilet and shower are all clean facilities
Luggage is carried from the parking lot, so it may be difficult for people with a lot of luggage ...
I am generally satisfied, but some groups have been making noise until midnight even after the lights were turned off.
I was careful once, but the 5th minute was quiet and again, but it did not fit at all.
I would like you to explain to me at the reception desk.
30km. Please come to Kiso Fukushima after shopping. There are no shops to shop in Otaki Village.
Even in summer, at night, you can enjoy a cool and comfortable camp. In the daytime, the altitude is 1500m and it is hot, so it is noisy with flies and mosquitoes.
As for mobile phones, 4G can be used normally with au.
As for the hot spring, the nearest "Komorebinoyu" will be closed at 17:00, so we will aim for "Otaki no Yu". Be careful not to go to "Otaki no Yu" because it is a gravel road that is less than 2km.
I used it on the first day of September consecutive holidays. The equipment is not up to date, but we have everything we need. The clerk's response was also polite. The site and parking lot are not far away. There aren't many free sites, but they don't seem to get too crowded. It is a quiet and good campsite, with some distance between sites.
