Suikoen is a seasonal eatery run by a funky bunch of folks working to renew the tiny hamlet of Takigoshi. On the far outskirts of Kiso's Otaki Village, Suikoen's peaceful rural atmosphere and food made with soul is worth the trip. Their handmade oven fired pizzas are among Nagano's best. They also have local specialties like wild boar shishkebabs and handmade buckwheat soba noodles. A campground is in walking distance if you want to spend some time and explore. It also has good access to the easy hike up Mt. Kohide with amazing views of Mt. Ontake across the valley.

A nature experience facility in the Nagano Takigoshi area. Stop by when driving and order pizza and soba. Pizza is served freshly baked in a stone oven. It uses brewer's yeast and has a chewy texture that makes it satisfying to eat. The ingredients are shimeji mushrooms, maitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms and cheese, which are simple but have a nice and gentle taste. Soba provides freshness. This also has a very good texture and you can eat as much as you want. It is also good that you can eat delicious meals while breathing in the fresh air around the shop. The shopkeeper also talks to me kindly and it feels good. I want to come back to camp this time.

I used it for summer vacation. I ate fishing, catching fish, soba noodles, pizza, etc. The children were very happy.
