I stopped by to get the station stamp, but I thought it would be useless because the station staff was absent, but there was a tourist information center next to it, so when I asked, a beautiful older sister responded and I was able to get the stamp. --- But it doesn't look like a station where tourists get on and off, but is it an information center? Is there a famous historic site nearby?

The name of Mure was in Mure Village at the time of opening. It merged with the neighboring Samizu Village in the merger of cities, towns and villages, and became Iizuna Town. The station name is a remnant of the Mure village era. However, since it is difficult to understand the station name Mure, I don't know when, but I think it will be renamed to Iizuna Station or Iizuna Kogen Station to promote tourism. Like the name of Omi Station in Omi Village.

It may be difficult to read. When I looked it up, it was read as Mure Station. There is a tourist information center in Iizuna Town next to it, so I decided to stop by to gather information. Going on Route 18 from Lake Nojiri to Nakano City, you will find the entrance to the shopping street and there is Mure Station in the back. There was a parking lot just outside the rotary in front of the station. There were no special conditions for parking, so I was able to park easily. Although Mure Station is a small station, it seems that many people use it because it has good access to Nagano City. Especially, students who go to school are said to be crowded in the morning and evening.

Although it is a manned station, there is a notice stating that "tickets cannot be sold at the counter." The toilet is a separate building from the station building. For men, it is large 1 (no Western washlet) and small 2. Depending on the timing, a taxi is waiting.
