the largest bronze hokyoin-to at taito-ku
Hisataka Goto (12/15/2020)
It is a very luxurious and delicate copper Hokyointo. Hokyointo is said to forgive the crimes committed so far, but if it is so good, it seems that there will be even more benefits than exemption. It was a pagoda that conveys the high level of technology at that time and the strong feelings of the people of Edo.

In the ward on the left side of the main temple of Sensoji Temple, among the existing copper-made treasure seal towers, it is the largest tangible cultural property of the ward. Moreover, it is a must-see because it is a work of Mr. Izumi Mamoru Nishimura, the founder and creator of Edo, which is a surviving work 🦉 Furthermore, since the inscription on the pedestal shows that Sensoji Temple was worshiped by people of various occupations and local citizens from that time, it is a very valuable cultural material, so it is also a must-see 😊 The four Tenno statues on the pedestal have a good taste and are cool 😃😃
Nantonaku Mushimshi (06/25/2018)
The main pagoda was erected in September 1761 with the help of many believers, mainly attending the day and pagoda. There are more than 700 donors carved on the four laps of the stone stile. The donors are spread over the current Taito Ward, Chiyoda Ward, Chuo Ward, Bunkyo Ward, Sumida Ward, and some of them are people called "Juhachi Odori" such as Iseya Shirozaemon of the FCM, and actor Nakamura. You can also see names such as Koicho and Hidetsuru Nakamura. From this, it can be inferred that the construction of the main tower was a major project that included Sensoji Temple.
Kou K (10/07/2018)
It is built from the inscription carved on the pedestal by donation from various people in the local area.
