There is still an old map around the station in front of the station, and as you can see it, it's easy to see that there were a lot of recreational facilities for residents around the area. Nowadays, there are almost no shops around the station, but it's quiet, but in the early spring, it's crowded with flower-viewers at Hiokayama Park.

Also, the door does not open automatically when getting on and off, so press the button next to the door. * If you do not have a ticket and get off at this station, please settle the fare at the operating box near the driver's seat when getting off. There are no automatic ticket gates at the stations where ordinary trains on the Kakogawa Line run, but there are IC simple ticket gates and automatic ticket vending machines, so you can use IC tickets such as ICOCA. There is about one train every 20 to 30 minutes for Kakogawa / Damjin and Awo. By the way, there is Hiokayama Park right next to the station, which is crowded with people during the cherry blossom season.
