Campsite in largely unspoilt natural surroundings. Absolutely stunning scenery. You need to take a long windy mountain road to the campsite. The site itself is quite basic - no auto sites only what they call free sites in Japan which means there is no electrical sockets. Toilets are Japanese style squatters. Only cold water in the sink area but they do provide washing up liquid and sponges. Dogs allowed. Bears and deer in the area. There is a Forest Adventure tree top challenge course. Its 2800 yen per person. But there is also a few free play areas. The skybridge is accessible through a tunnel. Between 10 am and 330 pm bubbles are blown from a machine on the bridge at half hour intervals.

As posted on my wonder-tips site, we stayed at Mahoba Forest for camping. Mahoba Forest is one of the best camping sites for beginners.

I used a cottage for 4 people! The cottage and other facilities were clean and well equipped, so I was able to spend a comfortable time! In addition, all the staff were kind, kind and friendly, and I was impressed! By the way, the inside of the cottage is very beautiful and there is a solid bath in addition to the toilet, so I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The heating was also very warm with the two-stage air conditioner and heater. The bedding was very clean and there was a blanket so I slept very comfortably. All the facilities other than the cottage were maintained from the reception to the BBQ building and it was very beautiful. We have a lot of rental items, and we were very grateful that we could rent tableware and cooking utensils for free! It seems that you can rent badminton, playing cards, UNO, shogi, go, etc.! Also, I couldn't make a reservation this time, but from December to March, you can see the beautiful starry sky while entering the kotatsu in the outdoor bamboo kamakura! I definitely want to make a reservation next time! !! I also used the Mahoba Cafe attached to the administration building! I was happy that the arrangement was polite, delicious and the amount was solid! The price was also a normal price, not a tourist spot price! There is a suspension bridge called Ueno Sky Bridge on foot, and if you cross it, you can go to the largest limestone cave in the Kanto region, "Fujido", and feel free to feel adventurous! I wrote a lot, but it was a very comfortable and nice place to write a review for the first time like this! !! I will definitely use it again.

Reiwa December 19th I have previewed the camp site Toilets and water areas are perfect The essential tent site is ... On a flat land without undulations Just by dividing it widely If you look to the left and right, you will definitely see other tents ... Even if you try using it on weekdays in winter May be good

I used it at the camp. Guests compartment is wide leisurely. The adjacent Forest Adventure managed to clear even a 10 year old child. Firmly preparation is necessary transient in advance because convenience stores and supermarkets there is little in the middle of the road
