名鉄は愛知県や岐阜県に路線がある中部地方の大手私鉄ですが、広見線の終着駅であるこの駅は、木造の小さな駅舎で、周辺は閑静でのどかな雰囲気でした。ただ、新可児から御嵩まではICカードが使えないので、ローカル線の雰囲気を感じました。

It is the terminal station of the Hiromi Line. In the past, direct trains from Nagoya were frequently operated, but now only the return operation between Shin-Kani Station and this station. The Hiromi Line is all unmanned stations, and this station is no exception. Since the transportation system IC card is also out of range, you need to purchase a ticket and use the train with cash. The Hiromi Line Shin-Kani-Mitake is a single-line, local line, so you can enjoy a different atmosphere from Meitetsu Inuyama Station and the Nagoya Main Line.
