Life Center Fukuoka Book Store

I finally found a Christan Bookstore with many books! Hooray!

They were closed. I was 1 hour early. But staff specially opened for me and let me in. Very helpful and friendly.

one of the only christian bookstores in fukuoka. they have many books that aren't sold in regular bookstores. they also often attend large christian events and sell their items there as well. nice owners.

I am a non-Japanese speaking Australian who found this store through Google. I came in May, with little hope, looking for a nativity set to add to my international collection. I was very pleased that the store assistant could show me quite a few, but all made in China (not surprising). But then she went to a lot of trouble, with phone calls and printing maps, and with the help of a customer Kaori from Nagasaki, I was on my way to Tenjin to the Daimyomachi Catholic Church in Showa Dori, where they had several Kyushu made pottery nativity sets. I am so very happy. Many blessings to this shop assistant and to Kaori for the special help they gave me today.
