MANDARAKE Fukuoka

Going to Mandarake brings me back when I was 5. There are so many nostalgic toys and collectibles that are either dirt cheap or straight-up expensive. If you’re a collector, or specifically into a fan-base, ranging from American (like Star Wars, Fast and Furious), Japanese (Anime, Studio Ghibli, Bands) to Kpop culture, this is a must go!

What a great place for anime goodies, and other hobby items. Everyone was very helpful and friendly despite a language barrier, and they had quite a large selection. There are 2 floors, but the second floor is mostly for 18+. If you like figures be prepared to come with some serious cash. The highest price figure I found was 33,000 yen. A lot of sales are final with no returns so be aware of that as well. I have to say though, I absolutely loved it.

Nothing much unless you are super into otaku culture. Lots of jpop idol products too.

The paradise for manga & animation fans. Lots of second hand manga, vintage toys and collectibles you can find here.

Sells figures with damaged boxes at a discount, but they also have 2nd hand and 1st hand products. Some items are overpriced.
