Always a great selection of movies from all over the world. And if you become a member (¥4.500 yearly membership) entry is only ¥1.100.

A brand new theatre, not far from Fushimi Station. Foreign films are shown in their original language with Japanese subtitles. A nice concession stand with snacks and drinks for the film. There are 3 or 4 separate screens, so there are always choices. This theatre is pristine; no sticky floors or broken seats here! It seems that films that have already had their run overseas are shown here, as well as those thoughtful films that aren't necessarily under the Hollywood spotlight. This theatre is probably considered more art-house than mainstream. Check it out,!

Recently relocated to this location, the Fushimi Million-za shows a range of smaller budget and film-festival award winning movies from Japan and abroad. The ground floor features a concession stand / café with a range of non-alcoholic beverages, beer, and some limited food offerings.
