This temple is a temple of the Shingon sect Chiyama school, which was founded by the prestigious Utsunomiya of Shimotsuke, the 14th head of the Utsunomiya Totsuna. It is also the Kanto 88th place sacred place.

The pictures in the Kanto 88 Sacred Place Guidebook must have been taken by a priest. Both women in the garden are good personalities. The current priest at Enshoji Temple near Motokaji Station on the Ikebukuro Line is a nephew, and until the priest became Enshoji Temple, he was also a priest at Sofukuji Temple. (The priest at Enshoji Temple will be welcoming a small cute bride who has been a curator in Nara, and will be enlivening this temple ... The temple has a nice pond!) A glimpse of a wonderful figure behind the Buddhist statue in the sun. Respect Gassho! 😊

Revisit 2019/10/20 Kanto 88th place No.24. This time I wrote the red stamp on the scroll! 2019/1/12 Worshiping Shinshin Muneyama School.
