It is an unmanned station. There used to be station staff. There are several stores in front of the station, so there is a lot of activity. The Kinuura Rinkai Railway, which has a branch line from this station, is a freight train-only line that crosses Mikawa Bay to Hekinanshi Station. The Taketoyo line is an unmanned station except for Handa station, but I feel that it is overkill. At least, I want Higashiura, Ogawa, Kamezaki, and Taketoyo stations to be stationed again.
