Simple and small site but we met very friendly staff and we found this camping site absolutely lovely. We did one hour canoeing (1,500yen/hour) after our arrival. The lake was quite empty (even though it was during obon holidays) and we could enjoy it freely. As mentioned, the whole camping site isn't that big, but you can park your car next to your tent and have more than enough space for most of the things you need. I also found the people doing camping here are also friendly and kind compared to other places.

The staff was very nice! You can rent an electric boat, but you should definitely rent it! It's really fun. Since the return time is fixed, it is recommended to go early to set up and go out by boat. (You can lend a life jacket) For the site, it was specified. Depending on the location of the setting, the river may be flowing nearby and you may not be able to sleep because you can always hear the noise. Please bring earplugs. The scenery is the best. There is a toilet and a coin shower (100 yen for 5 minutes, until 21:00). There is also a water supply. There are no convenience stores or supermarkets that you can walk to nearby. There is a supermarket right after getting off the highway, so we recommend that you finish there.

It was a quiet campsite by the lake where the manager was kind and the usage fee was reasonable.
