Very nice campground! There is a lot of space for BBQ, you can rent a kayak and enjoy the lake while row! They also have nice little ofuro (looks like tiny onsen) and it all in good shape! The bathroom is also very clean! Only things I didn't like were no shampoo in ofuro (there is only soap, but you can buy a little shampoo from owners) and there is to many lights outside during night so it's hard to sleep if you like darkness. Other then that, really good experience!
The campsite here
It's exciting.
The scenery is also the best.
Matsubara Campground in Urabandai, Fukushima Prefecture, where both adults and children can enjoy activities to their heart's content.
A unique campsite where you can travel to the campsite by boat! You can feel adventurous even when traveling. In addition to the tent site, there are bungalows, and empty-handed camping is also possible. "Great satisfaction"
There are two types of accommodation at Matsubara Campsite: tent sites and bungalows. Although it is a compact campsite, the distance between the sites is kept moderate and you can spend a relaxing time. There is a cooking building, a flush toilet, and a bath with a shower in the hall, which are "clean and well-maintained."
At "Matsubara Campsite" where you can experience the rich nature of Urabandai, you can experience an adventurous mood that is a little different from everyday life.
First of all, it seems that you can't go directly to this place by car, so you'll be asked to pick you up at the dock at the Hibara Lake Pleasure Boat (the dock on the far right of the line).
Since I didn't stay overnight, I took a half-day plan for a day trip like a sap fish called Sapp (laughs) It was really fun. I rode with a family of four, but if you have experience in canoeing, you can go Gungun, it is stable, you can jump in and play, you can flutter, you lie and you are quite free unlike a canoe. The children were also delighted to see Dobon on the sea with Tarzan ropes and slides. After all, this kind of thing is not something you can do anywhere, so if your child is elementary and junior high school and you do not like water, I definitely recommend it. It was a great memory of my summer vacation. The staff also felt very good. I would like to go again someday.
I can't go by car, but the owners warmly welcomed me ~
Even beginners can use it with confidence. It's a convenient campsite where advanced campsites gather, and it's a place where you can eliminate the inconvenience of going by ferry.
Take a boat to the campsite 🚤 The inconvenience is good.
