It is a temple located in Nishi Odori, Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture. Hosen-ji Temple is a temple of Rinzai-so, founded by Naoe and Keiko, and was named Ryorinji. . The Hosen-ji Temple and the temple name changed from Kuririn-ji, taking the name "Hosen-in Hall" of the 3 female turtle princesses of the 2nd generation lord Yusaku. It is said that the Bunshodo in the precinct was the second generation Tsuneyama Kazuya recruited Kirito's Bunshi (Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture) in 1648. The present hall was rebuilt in 1955.

Kagekatsu Uesugi was the founder and was built in 1618. Naoe Kanetsugu has become a learning center for the Yonezawa domain with the Zenrin Bunko and Yu collection. The Monjudo was later built. If you have time, you may come here.
