If you want food in the Matsushima Station area, Shikitei is a restaurant I can recommend. It has easy-to-understand picture menus, takes credit cards (and even Suica I believe) and serves a variety of noodles and seafood at quite reasonable prices (easy to have dinner for around 1000 yen, lunch for around 700.) No tourist premium here. The menu is varied enough that you can try sushi or sashimi one time, anago don another and still have plenty more types of food to discover in the future. Everything I've had was fresh and tasty and I see why locals frequent this place. Decor is tasteful if a bit faded. There is also a reasonably-sized free parking lot.

It may not be enough for those who really want to eat oysters All-you-can-eat oysters here is 50 minutes, but it also includes baking time The time starts from the end of the first baking, but since the second and subsequent baking times require exactly 10 minutes, the limit is about 4 times. It's 2255 yen (tax included) with rice and miso soup, so it's reasonable, but I wasn't full. It was delicious (((^_^;))

It was a holiday, but it wasn't particularly crowded, but it took an hour from ordering to serving food. I asked for bibimbap, but for some reason I was told that I had stopped it, so I had no choice but to order the curry that tasted like retort and the udon was frozen. It's a shop you don't want to visit again.
