I have a funny story about this restaurant from back in early 2019. After I enjoyed a delicious duck hot pot, the owner realized I might miss the last train of the night back to Sendai. He showed me the train timetable and gave me directions back to the nearest station. As I got close to the station I realized my phone charger was no longer in my bag, but it was too late to find a konbini to buy a replacement. Just before the train arrived I noticed a man waving at me through the platform fence. It was none other than the restaurant owner. He found my charger at my table and drove all the way to the station to give it back to me before I got on the train. This is my fondest memory of Japan, and I can't wait to eat here again when I am back in Sendai. About the restaurant itself, the food is really tasty, and the ambiance is very comfortable. You should absolutely try the duck hot pot.

Great local izakaya. One star off because of the smoking. But the food was excellent. Really enjoyed the meat wrapped-cheese filled- Shitake. But all the choices were enjoyable

Very friendly couple who clearly pride themselves on warm welcomes and delicious pub-style food. Although their English is limited they made us feel like worthy guests and made all attempts to ensure we were well looked after. We attended with our elderly mum and the 3 of us seated at the bar. Having the food prepared in front of us was a real treat and each dish tasted as good as it looked. I would highly recommend to to locals and foreigners alike! Thank you for having us!

Amazing izakaya run by a lovely couple. They went the extra mile and delivered an important item we left behind to our hotel!! We hadn’t even realized we misplaced it! Recommended dishes: chicken meatball, duck hotpot, beef tongue, sake Heart and tummy won over by them :)

The owners were friendly and nice people. The ambience was cozy and homely. We ordered duck hot pot, yakiniku, fried shrimp, gyoza, grilled fish, onigiri and some alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. The food was alright. We ended up paying 1500 yen each for the food and drinks.
