A station right by the road. Go during school days at 3+pm and you will get swarmed by high schoolers. For those who want to have that disconcerting experience of stepping straight into a live action anime surrounded by real students either doing their make-up or horsing around with fellow rebels-without-a-cause.

When I went from Sendai station, I was planning to go to Matsushimakaigan station, which is one station before, but I got on the train by mistake and arrived at the station 😅 It's very throaty and quiet. You can forget the time 😎 It seems that you will come again and explore if you have time

Used when going from Matsushima coast to Sendai. Normally it would be the Sengoku Line only, but I wanted to take the hybrid railcar HB-E210 series and go through the Sengoku Tohoku Line, so I changed trains here. I got off at the connection between the Sengoku Tohoku Line and the Sengoku Line, but there were no restaurants that could be used by tourists in front of or near the station.
