This is a neat and clean place, having a small restaurant and a gift shop in it. The information provided in the center for its natural surroundings is also quite useful.

This is a center where you can use its facilities either alone or with a group up to about 300 people. Schools around arrange a field trip here to stay. It has large meeting rooms, workshop areas, hotel like rooms, bathrooms, big kitchen and cafeteria and many more. Very convenient for schools to have outdoor experience. There are two big campfire area. You can come here for a day trip where there are are about 25 camping area with 500 yen rent. After 16:00 you can either stay in your tent or at this facility. There is shower, bathrooms and cooking area for campers. You can have tracking or hiking experience here with your family. I visited here in July. It was green and beautiful. Highly recommended for outdoor lovers

For those who like hiking, from this place you can climb Mont Izumigatake. with a pic of 1172m. the trail has different courses for hiking (4) you can use one for going up and another for going down to explore the area :-D You should take a map dipsosed at the camp and bing your own sticks or find a branch in the woods to help you climb through the rocs and slippery trails. You can access to the camp from Izumichuo station track N2 Bus N10 (790yen: 03.05.2016).

I used the citizen campsite. The facility is new. Most of the toilets were Western style, and they were clean and tidy. I recommend the B site. Although it is a little far from the toilet building and the cooking building, the location was good because there was an artificial waterfall and a river. If you give a minus point, the B site is close to the promenade, so it is relatively noticeable. At the time of booking, I explained about the entrance to the parking lot dedicated to the citizen campsite, but I was at a loss because I could not see the entrance at all when the large bus was stopped.

I'm glad there is a place to wash my shoes after climbing the mountain. There is a coin shower in the campsite next door, but can I use it? Maybe only for campsite users. Also, the free parking lot can be large.
