I visited because I was attracted by the strange station name. It seems to be the newest station on Hitachinaka Kaihin Railway, but it is an unmanned station. The feature is that the road straddles the platform of the station and serves as a roof. The Hitachinaka Kaihin Railway was elevated even though most of Oarai City runs in the countryside, so I mistakenly thought it was the Shinkansen for the first time.

It is currently the latest station on the Minato Line, which is located under the overpass of Route 245. Unmanned station, no toilet, vending machine without ticket vending machine, temporary stop without parking. There is also a bicycle parking lot, but it may overflow more than expected when opening. There is no roof, but the road is a substitute for the roof. For some reason, it may be mistaken for "Takata Overpass". This is also probably due to the road. Also, to those who read "Tetsuhashi" as "Tetsuhashi." The station name is derived from the nickname of the iron bridge over the Nakamaru River that runs right by. If you look at the station name mark, you should be able to understand it immediately by its design and the color of the letters. …The center of the station is right under the road, but it would be a problem to put markers on it (laughs) I wonder if I was told that I had arrived at my destination when I passed the road above. Since it is meaningless if the navigation can not be guided properly, I asked for a correction request.

The newest station on Hitachinaka Kaihin Railway. It is under the bridge of National Route 245, so it does not get wet in the rain. Unmanned station, no toilet. Beverage vending machines have a regional information display. There is a temporary parking area for several vehicles.

This is a new station for Hitachinaka Kaihin Railway. Although it is a large name, it is an ordinary suburban station. Certainly there is a bridge that crosses a small river near the station, but it is just that. If you expect something from the station name, you will betrayed.

It is the tenth station newly made to Hitachinaka Seaside Railway Minato Line in 2014. Because it is not so far from Naka-Minato, how about coming while watching Japan's first stainless steel pillar? As the name suggests, it is under the iron bridge so be strong with the rain but please be careful of pigeon feces.
