はるのゆいたろう (12/01/2020)
"Saifukuji" is a temple of the Nichiren sect. Hakkaku Lake, which is located in the back mountain of Togane, used to have a villa dedicated to falconry by Ieyasu Tokugawa, who was called the Togane Palace. Even now, the ruins of Togane Castle and old temples are scattered around the lake, and you can feel the depth of its history. By the way, Saifukuji Temple is located on a hill overlooking Lake Hakkaku, and the bell tower at the highest point overlooks Togane City. Since there was a palace, there is an anecdote about Ieyasu Tokugawa in the temple. It is said that Nizen Shonin, who was the chief priest here, had Ieyasu decide on the siege of Osaka. There are many temple treasures, and there is also a splendid garden and the tomb of Yosaburo Kiri in the precincts.

20/05/02 Visit. Saisumi opened as a temple of the Tendai sect, converted to the Hokke sect in 1479, and joined the Nichiren sect before the war, but it is now a Nichiren sect monolithic temple. On the way to the main hall, there is a statue showing how Ieyasu Tokugawa, who came for falconry, talked with his superior Nissin in 1614, and said he decided to attack Osaka. Daikoku is said to have been enshrined in Daikokudo, and you can see Lake Hazuru from its front.

In January, it was a peaceful weekday, so there weren't many people strolling, but the air was tight and I felt refreshed. In the spring cherry blossom season [I want to see 100-year-old cherry blossoms]
