It is a temple of the Rinzai sect. According to Teraden, it was founded by Masayoshi Ashikaga, but Dou was burned down and details are unknown. However, there are statues etc. that have become Fussa City designated cultural property in the temple treasure, and it makes me feel its history. There is also a monument in the precinct that is said to be the second oldest in Fussa City. There is also “Kannon-do”, but its history is unknown. The main hall seems to have been renovated and it is a building with a shiny shrine. Other Dou also has a lot of new things.

You can observe the river terrace from the back of the temple. There were many stone monuments and it was a great place to study the local history.
